The Pacific West Athletic Association has proudly given back to the U.S. Armed Forces and the Las Vegas Business Community, by hosting several sporting events throughout the year. While each event varies in attendance, they each give the local business owner a chance to promote their individual company and/or products to both the military and civilian communities.
As each event continues to grow, there are many expenses connected with hosting them. Ranging from gymnasium and sports officials fees to the event awards to name a few. The Pacific West Athletic Association solely relies on their own fundraising events and support from the local business community to ensure each event is a success.
Not only are these events an outstanding opportunity to promote your company, but with your contribution you will be supporting thousands of Armed Forces personnel, across the Continental United States. For example, one event to mention is the Annual Las Vegas Armed Forces Classic Basketball Tournament held every President’s Day Weekend in February. This event going into its sixth year has now quickly become the second largest military basketball tournament in the world. Starting in 2006, when the event had only 6 teams, has now grown in only 5 years to over 30 military men/women teams from across the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine teams travel each year from California, Texas, Arizona, South Carolina, Hawaii, Montana, Louisiana, Idaho and several other U.S. States. The tournament allows individuals and their teams an opportunity to compete against other military teams in higher, more competitive competition in which their home base can’t provide. Numerous Individual and Team Awards are presented to players and coaches, who are recognize for their uppermost sportsmanship and athletic ability.
As you see, there are many ways you can promote your company with the Pacific West Athletic Association from a simple donation to sponsoring one of our yearly events. Some opportunities are: “Title Sponsor” (Your Company Name included in the Event’s Title), “Event Sponsor” (Name on Trophy during a 3-point shooting contest), etc. In addition to the vast recognition your business will receive, there are also many special advantages involved with advertising with the Pacific West Athletic Association.
